The Madison Estate Council is a local association of estate planning attorneys, CPAs, bank trust officers, financial planners and life insurance professionals which holds four dinner meetings per year at which a prominent speaker presents on a topic of interest to estate planning professionals.  Past topics have included estate planning techniques, changes to federal income and estate tax law, state trust and estate law, charitable planning, business succession planning, and similar topics of interest to council members.  

 

Meetings are held at the Madison Club, usually on the third Tuesday of the month in which they occur, with 2-3 meetings in the fall (October-December) and 2-3 meetings in the winter/spring (January-May).

 

 


Madison Estate Council is affiliated with the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils and joining can fulfill the requirement of belonging to an affiliated local estate planning council to become an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designee.
